As of 10 January 2012 Office:mac 2004 is no longer supported by Microsoft.
Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 was released. Office:mac 2008 is still PowerPC-compatible, but lacks VBA support. Office:mac 2004 is the latest version to support VBA on PowerPC. There are three different editions available: 1) the Standard Edition was available for $399 USD (upgrade: $239 USD), 2) the Professional Edition additionally included Virtual PC 7 with Windows XP Professional for a price of $499 USD (upgrade: $329 USD), 3) the Student and Teacher Edition for $149 USD (no upgrade and not upgradable). It is often also referred to as Office:mac 2004.
Microsoft Office 2004 is an office suite including the text processor Word, the spreadsheet application Excel, the presentation software PowerPoint and the mail client Entourage.
